How to Talk Effectively With Your Children About Alcohol and Substance Abuse
Join us on Wednesday, March 28 in the Esther Mesh Room at Chandler Music Hall, 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM for a presentation on How to Talk Effectively with Your Children About Alcohol and Substance Use.
This first of six sessions will cover current youth substance trends, the development concerns of youth, strategies on delaying the onset of substance use, signs and symptoms indicating potential use, how and when to talk with your kids about substance abuse, as well as local resources for assistance.
Presenters include: Jeff Nowlan, MA, LCMHC, LADC – Gifford Behavioral Health; Adam Bindrum – Clara Martin Center Substance use and Mental Health Clinician; Matt Whalen – Vermont Department of Health; Sgt. Loretta Stalnaker – Randolph Police Department.
